With Labor Day having passed this Monday, we want to take a moment to reflect and celebrate the unique occasion.
Looking beyond the long weekend, parades, picnics, and blowout sales, Labor Day is a time to honor the contributions of workers throughout history and the importance of organized labor unions in shaping our workforce and society.
Established in the late 19th century, Labor Day emerged as a tribute to the American labor movement and the power of collective action from unions. Workers from all around the nation came together to fight for their rights, fair wages, safe working conditions, and the right to unionize.
Unions have been the voice for the working class, protecting the rights and safety of workers such as our creators and ourselves.
