Innovators of the Ocean: Join a campaign to celebrate the next generation of innovators. The Red Lobster Ocean Sustainability Challenge is encouraging middle school students (ages 11 to 13) interested in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) to consider their own solution to improve our marine ecosystems. In order to win, teams will need to be reviewed and voted on from now until May 2nd. Use your platform to help spread the word about this challenge!

#ProtectHealthCare Creator Cohort: In partnership with Watering Hole Media, People First is rounding up a cohort of POC men and women to share more about the differences in healthcare access and fight for equality! Sign this interest form to be a part of their partner bimonthly meetings and get paid to create content based on its performance. We’ll be in touch with those selected to participate to coordinate a handoff. 

Amplifying Voices of Love: Let’s show love and community to trans youth. We’re calling trans and nonbinary folks, parents, and advocates to help us share stories, foster understanding, and build a world where every child is seen, valued, and affirmed. We want to know how you show up and show out. 

Test, Detect, Protect with ClearStrand-ASD: For many parents, traditional autism diagnoses often happen around age four. Early intervention is integral to a child’s development, but until now there hasn’t been an easy, at-home way to diagnose ASD. LinusBio is finally changing that. Join our campaign to raise awareness about the first biomarker test that can be taken from the comfort of your own home. Parents and caregivers to children on the spectrum are welcome, as well as specialists. 
NYC’s Never Had a Woman Mayor? Are you ready to shake up the status quo in NYC? We’re calling on NY-based creators who are tired of scandals, fed up with the revolving door of corrupt men in office, and ready to speak up for real leadership. One candidate isn’t another insider looking for a headline, she’s a fighter with a record, and she’s taking on the broken systems others let rot.

Campaign Spotlight: Help Get Out the Vote!

We’ve been receiving tons of direct messages and comments from creators who are interested in getting involved in the upcoming election! Though we have several political campaigns available, we encourage you all to check out the “Get Out the Vote!” campaign!

Get Out the Vote (GOTV) campaigns are a vital part of elections: they facilitate increased voter turnout and engagement, especially within hard-to-reach communities. Historically, GOTV efforts focused on grassroots organizing, door-to-door canvassing, and phone-banking. Now, thanks to social media, GOTV efforts can reach larger and more diverse audiences through targeted messaging and microinfluencers. Social media creators can share key campaign messages and authentic stories that resonate with their followers to encourage them to register and vote!

Our Get Out the Vote campaign focuses on the importance of voting and how voting can protect ones’ values. If you are looking to get involved in this pivotal election, be sure to apply using this link!

Campaign Spotlight: Join the Fight Against the Mpox Outbreak

Have you heard of Mpox? If you have not, Mpox is a virus related to smallpox that causes severe symptoms such as painful rashes, fever, and respiratory issues. It poses a significant risk, especially to children under the age of 5 and those with weakened immune systems.

Just this month, the World Health Organization declared the Mpox outbreak in several African countries a “public health emergency of international concern” or PHEIC, which indicates that Mpox has spread across borders. As of now, the virus has disproportionately affected the LGBTQ+ community, with the highest incident rates being among Black and Hispanic/Latino MSM, along with sex workers. 

As such, we have partnered with the New York State Department of Health to raise awareness about Mpox, especially among vulnerable populations, and to share information on vaccination.

For this new campaign, we are seeking small or medium size business owners to share how TikTok has impacted their business. If you consider yourself any of the following, be sure to apply for this campaign today using this link!

    • 18-27 year old individuals who are shaping the future of business using TikTok with their forward-thinking and optimistic outlook. 
    • Creators who have a story to share that emphasizes how they are redefining success on TikTok.

As many of you may know, we have had many campaigns with White Castle—and this month, we have another! 

We are seeking creators between the ages of 21 to 45 to join our latest “If You Have a Microwave, You Have a White Castle!” campaign! We want to highlight the ease at which White Castle sliders offer a tasty meal on the go. No matter how much of a rush you are in, as long as you have a microwave you can get that iconic White Castle taste anytime, anywhere. 

That being said, we would like to see how White Castle sliders fit into our creators’ every day lives. Whether they are a quick snack before a meeting or a late-night treat, show us how these sliders save time—and the day!

April 22nd, was the 53rd annual 🌎 Earth Day 🌎

Started back in 1970, this global event aims to spread awareness about issues impacting our earth, such as climate change and pollution, while reminding people of their role in taking care of the planet. 

As social media becomes a stronger tool for sharing information and impactful messages, we encourage our Creator Community to do their part and inspire others to live greener! From sharing infographics or tips on living a more sustainable life, talking about eco-friendly products, or partnering with brands who are committed to reducing their carbon footprint; there are many avenues you can take in making a real difference. Remember, no act is too small!

The goals of this campaign are to minimize food waste, alleviate hunger, preserve resources, and build a future where no edible food goes to waste.   • Renovate your Space with Floor & Decor: For this campaign, we are seeking creators who plan to renovate their bathrooms in the month of April! We ask that you share how you’re going about updating your flooring, tiling, bathroom appliances, and more!

Campaign Spotlight: Oppose the GUARD Act

Are you or someone you love a veteran who has had to navigate the process of filing a claim to the VA? If so, this campaign is for you!

The slow and complicated processing of filing a claim makes it difficult for our veterans to receive their well-deserved benefits. The GUARD Act that is currently in the legislative process is disguised as protecting veterans, but in reality, it has the potential of making the claims process more difficult for veterans by removing private actors who guide them through this process.

With that being said, we are still looking for veterans and those currently serving in the United States Armed Forces to encourage those who will be impacted by the GUARD act to look into the act themselves and consider the impact it may have. Campaign Preview: Spread Awareness of National Influenza Vaccination Week

Now that it’s November, we are officially one month away from National Influenza Vaccination Week

National Influenza Vaccination Week takes place during the first week of December, this year from December 4-8, 2023.

This national observance was established back in 2005 by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to “remind everyone 6 months and older that there’s still time to get vaccinated against flu”. Government and nonprofit organizations around the nation come together to share resources and raise awareness about the flu shot in order to encourage influenza vaccination. This includes creating and posting social media content, newsletters, posters, and flyers.

The influenza vaccine is particularly important because it is “the only vaccine that protects against (the) flu and (is) proven to reduce the risk of flu illness, hospitalization, and death”. It is especially necessary for “people who are at higher risk of developing serious flu complications, including young children”. With Labor Day having passed this Monday, we want to take a moment to reflect and celebrate the unique occasion.

Looking beyond the long weekend, parades, picnics, and blowout sales, Labor Day is a time to honor the contributions of workers throughout history and the importance of organized labor unions in shaping our workforce and society.

Established in the late 19th century, Labor Day emerged as a tribute to the American labor movement and the power of collective action from unions. Workers from all around the nation came together to fight for their rights, fair wages, safe working conditions, and the right to unionize. 

Unions have been the voice for the working class, protecting the rights and safety of workers such as our creators and ourselves. 

This Labor Day, don’t forget the impact unions have made on all of our lives by joining the Union Difference campaign!

Campaign Spotlight: Back to Flu Season

Whether you are a student or a parent of a student, we at the Social Club wish you all a happy and successful school year!

With hundreds of students coming together in the Back to School season, we encourage everyone to remain on top of their vaccinations, not only for your own health but also for your family and your community.

This Back to Flu season, People First is partnering with Weber Shandwick and the CDC to host two campaigns: Fight the Flu for Babies and Fight the Flu for Kids!

For both campaigns, we are looking for parents who are either expecting or have children between the ages of 6 months to 17 years old to share the importance of getting vaccinated against the flu. More specifically, we want you all to share why you’re choosing to get the flu vaccine – whether that be for peace of mind or passion for your child’s health.

Campaign Spotlight: Floor & Decor

To our creators who worked on the Floor & Decor campaign… Congratulations​​! Your work has been featured in a new article on MediaPost.

For our creators who may not know, in early 2023, People First partnered with Floor and Decor, a leading specialty retailer of hard surface flooring, to design and execute a microinfluencer campaign. We specifically sought out flooring professionals and “hands-on Buy-it-Yourselfers (BIYers)” homeowners to drive brand awareness and traffic to the company website. 

At the end of the 2-month campaign, we ran a brand lift study to measure the effectiveness of our advertisements—as we do for many of our partnerships. 

We found that there was above a 99.9% chance that ads caused brand lift for the Ad Recall and Brand Awareness polls with a 6.5pt lift.

So if you were a flooring professional or homeowner who participated in this campaign, thank you for your hard work and authentic content!

Hey Creators! We have exciting news for everyone who worked on The Truth is Out There Campaign. In case you missed it, this campaign asked creators to utilize their platform and share their stories to get out the vote for key congressional districts throughout the country. 

Thanks to our creators, People First saw wins in states such as Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Kansas, Nevada, Washington, Michigan, and Virginia, making this our largest and most successful social media campaigns to date.

Hey creators~ We are back announcing an exciting new campaign we have been working on with the company Floor and Decor! We have two exciting new opportunities for Home designers and homeowners, or Flooring Professionals.

For Homeowners, and designers:

Do you consider yourself design-focused and trend-forward when it comes to decor and interior design? If so, Floor and Decor would like you to participate in a tile scavenger hunt to find your favorite tile in their warehouse!

That tile you took a photo of on vacation? Or that backsplash you saved on Pinterest? Time to break it out and take it to Floor and Decor. Their warehouses can match the style of your favorite tile right in the warehouse, and their design service pros are on hand to help locate your desired pattern and plan your next flooring project.

We’d like you to document your experience working with a Floor and Decor pro to find your favorite tile and promote Floor and Decor as the go-to spot for any of your followers looking to start a new flooring project. Show your followers the tile you’re looking to recreate first, take a photo to Floor and Decor and get the help of one of their design pros to find a look-alike. Then, create a post documenting your experience and encouraging your followers to check out Floor and Decor to execute their design visions!
